BANGKOK
TRAIN
Bangkok is linked by rail connections to most cities in Thailand and some country border towns. In bound and out bound train services are efficient, economical and comfortable.
Hua Lam Phong Station is the central station, where all routes are linked. Train service is providing in 4 directions, north, northeastern, east, south. Some trains also go to neighbouring countries such as malaysia, singapore, etc.
Bangkok suburban areas can also be reached by trains from Hua Lam Phong. The northern and northeastern trains are passing Bang Khen and Don Mueang stations. Eastern trains are passing Lad Krabang and Hua Ta Khe stations. Southern trains are passing Taling Chan station.
Many types of trains are available daily, including express train, rapid train, air-conditioned diesel train, regular train, and they have comfortable sleeping seats. Specially, old steam-powered trains are running in some occassions.
