NONG BUA LUM PHU
 
Nong Bua Lam Phu is at the foot of Phu Phan Kham mountain of the Northeast. This is an ancient city aged not lass than 900 years. It was once an Amphoe of Udonthani and was just established as a province in 1993.
 
Many hundred years ago, this town was a dependency of Sisattana Kanahut City which now is the Vientiane and it was called "Mueang Nongbua Lam Phu Nakhon Khuean Khan Kab Kaeo Bua Ban".

The geographic characters of Nong Bua Lamphu is plateaux alternate with mountain ranges on the east, where a long range of mountains and forests locates. The plateau inclines to the Amphoe Na Klang and Amphoe Si Bunrueng where rice are nicely grow.

This province is offering numerous pre-historic archaeological sites and mountainous and beautiful lakeside scenery.

BOUNDARY  :  NORTH = UDONTHANI EAST = UDONTHANI WEST = LOEI SOUTH = KHON KAEN
