          Similan is one of the top-ten best diving sites of the world. It was praised that has beautiful landscapes and most spectacular undersea scenes. In Yawee or Malayu language, Similan is meaning to nine. The archipelago has 9 islands and covers the area of 80,000 rais. Similan was eastablished as a National Marine Park since Sep. 1982.

          The islands are covering with lush rainforests and beaches of crystal-white sands. In the deep blue sea, the scenic sea bed is decorated with stunning natures and scarce creatures, such as branching corals, giant sea turtles, stars, sharks, ranges of colorful fish, etc.

      Similan Archipelago includes 9 islands, Bon, Bangu, Similan, Payu, Miang (2 islands), Payun, Payang, and Yuhong. The park headquarter is at Ko Miang. Bungalows, campsites, tents and food shops are available. Best time to visit is between late Dec. to early Mar.
